Who is HEF?
The Hampton Education Foundation (HEF) raises private support to drive innovation, encourage creativity, expand student opportunities, and empower educators to strengthen teaching and learning throughout Hampton City Schools (HCS). HEF began in 2001 and is led by a volunteer board that manages two special programs: the Annual Teacher Grant Program -- giving away $40,000 to our educators for innovative classroom ideas that engage students; and $7,000 for graduating seniors as they seek to continue their education beyond high school.
The Hampton Education Foundation directly supports Hampton City Schools, impacting the lives of more than 21,000 students and educators through annual and endowment support ensuring a transformative future for our community. Please go to our site for more information about the Foundation.
