Runnin’ Shine is a hot country act with its members hailing from Virginia by way of Alabama, New York, and New Hampshire. Playing together since February of 2015, Runnin’ Shine is a tight, four piece comprised of Janice Chandler on vocals and acoustic guitar, Richie Bohr on lead electric guitar, Bill Snow on drums, and Jim Cahoon on the bass.
Brought together by really good luck and a few mutual friends, each player gives a unique energy and experience to the band. Their high energy rockin’ country show has named them Veer Magazine 2019, 2021 and 2022 Country Artist of the Year, and their clever original song, “The D” was chosen as a Finalist in the Great American Song Writing contest.
Their single, “Shotgun,” which was released in 2019 to country radio made top 40 on the Country Music Row chart, and their song released in 2020, “The Way You Need Me” reached 43.
Runnin’ Shine’s resume includes opening for Lanco, Parmelee, Billy Ray Cyrus, Michael Ray, Radio Romance, Colt Ford, and Jimmie Allen.
Runnin’ Shine is well-known for their professionalism as well as their ability to ensure each show is unique to fit the audience it serves.
