Just Standing is a heavily 90's and early 00's influenced rock band from Chesapeake, Virginia. Their genres include Hard Rock, Post-Grunge, Alternative Metal, a...nd Progressive Rock. The group of four young men is known for their bright, burning passion which is poured out on the stage and in the music. Just Standing is easily described by emotional, melodic, soulful, and mysterious vibes delivered through dark and eerie songs. Characteristics of their songs include powerful heart-piercing vocals (Drew), soul-winning guitar with multiple virtuous solos (Travis), shredding, grooving drums that tell a story in every fill (Ay-Jay), and gloomy bass that carries the spiritual melodies of eloquent songs through (Rob). The band was established in 2010 and has continuously been rising in the local underground. They released their first professionally studio-recorded "2016 EP" April 30 of 2016 which has since been receiving increasingly extensive radio play throughout the world.
